GPN is committed to successful and sustainable agriculture to meet the needs of the population.

GPN manufactures a full range of nitrogen fertilizers that are well-known for their agronomical effectiveness, their environmental credentials and ease of use.

To anticipate the changing demands in the agricultural sector, GPN has recently commissioned two new, ultra-modern, production units at Grand Quevilly (76) and Grandpuits (77), so as to boost its range of nitrogen fertilizers. This new capacity consolidates GPN as the preferred partner for French farmers.

Finally, the GPN production tools are located in the heart of the major cereal growing areas. This proximity guarantees the availability and delivery of products in a reactive manner to its customers.

GPN's commitment is to unite the two targets of cost-effectiveness and environmental responsibility.

The status of the French agricultural market

France is the first agricultural country of the European Union. With more than 500,000 farms, the agricultural sector is French modern, innovative, productive, and has a high importance in the French economy. For example, 5,000 jobs will be created in the agricultural machinery by 2011!

While jobs have halved since last 25 years, production has doubled and French farms were able to be very efficient."All things considered, agricultural production will have to increase 70% by 2050 to meet rising global food requirements.
